Searching waterfalls in Malaysia was my pastime hobbies. Weekend trips or camping with friends and family are conducive outings during hot and humid weathers.

Cool water massage under waterfall has soothing therapeutic effects. A natural body cooler without air-conditioning.

In my early years,  searching for beautiful waterfalls was difficult. I relied on mouth advertisement from friends and occasional newspaper write-up.

With internet now, rare research done on Malaysia’s waterfalls as compared to oversea. Maybe eco-tourism is not attractive and profitable. If added attractions like fish rearing, pond fishing, flowers,vegetable, animal farms and jungle trekking incorporated near the waterfalls, will it promote eco-tourism? But facilities like public toilets and chalets are lacking and below par. Malaysian are famous for littering these natural wonders. Careless attitude in cleanliness.  Difficult road access posed another obstacle.

Lately, I discovered Khong’s website in existent for more than 10 years.

Introducing Lata Kinjang waterfall in Tapah, State of Perak, Malaysia.

One of the popular weekend destination.
