Blog yOur Mind says,

What a good reflection from a dear friend of mine on interpretation of our recent huha on the word “GOD”.

It’s a good joke and also help certain people to interpret and understand the meaning of words and who can used it.

Will this article help to diffuse the tension created in our harmonious country since our 1957 Independence Day.

I hope this article below will help to diminish the anger stirred among certain group of people. Let us live in peace and love. A country that we build together for the future of our children, irrelevant of race or religion.

Good joke for year 2010

A man came home from work and his children ran to him and called out ‘Ayah! Ayah!’.

His neighbor got very upset and said to him, “Can you please tell your children not to call you ‘Ayah’?”

The man asked, “Why?”

The neighbor retorted, “Because my children call me ’Ayah’ too. They might get confused and mistake you to be their father.”

Then the man told his neighbour, are you not a shame to say that your children do not know who is their ‘Ayah’. So you are saying by using the word ‘Ayah’, your children will call me ‘ayah’ too without knowing who is their father.

The neighbour said yes, only i should use the word ‘Ayah’.

The man said, then there is something wrong in what you are teaching your children.. They are not sure and do not know who is their ‘Ayah’.

Who will fuel economic growth?

“It’s not just monetary,” says Ariff. “It goes beyond dollars and cents. [Emigration] is not confined to any particular group. It’s everyone; even Malay [Malaysians] are leaving.”

By Ding-Jo Ann, The Nut Graph

WITH the recent attack on churches, a Catholic school and a Sikh gurdwara, migration is likely to be on the minds of some Malaysians. Despite government assurances that “everything is under control”, diminishing respect for rights as demonstrated by the “Allah” issue has naturally caused consternation among educated Malaysians. To All those Born in the 50’s , 60’s & early ’70s…

First, we survived with mothers who had no maids. They cooked /cleaned while taking care of us at the same time.

They took aspirin, candies floss, fizzy drinks, shaved ice with syrups and diabetes were rare. Salt added to Pepsi or Coke was remedy for fever. Read the rest of this entry »

This story tells us something about LOVE & LIFE.

My husband is S/W Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders.

Two years of courtship and now, five years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness. Read the rest of this entry »

“This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.”

Subject: MARINA MAHATHIR & THE WORD ALLAH

(I am told by friends in the Corridors of Power that actually the real fear is not from the religious aspect. The most intimidating fear is PAS and if BN do not handle this, PAS will use this for their political mileage.

If BN fails (UMNO) this could be the last nail to the coffin before the next election. It is as simple as that. What can I say – there is someone whose grandfather is a Christian and grandmother is a muslim!

Here in Sarawak! A friend of mine, (Toman Mamora) whose family lives in Jakarta – the husband is a Christian and the wife is a muslim living in the same house! None of them convert each other.

Didn’t you read in Borneo Post sometimes in DEC 09 that in Germany, Christians and muslims used the same building for praying. The muslims used it on Fridays and Christians on Sundays?

What are we trying to prove to the world in Malaysia?! I know, some of us may disagree but on the other hand, are we not told to love one another, even those outside the gates? Sorry, I don’t have DD – doctorate in divinity. I only understand what God tells me in the Bible). All these that are happening are in the Book of Isaiah, Book of Daniel and Book of Revelation. You can refer to the websites but please don’t be too taken in lest you get more confused than others!

The Man Rules

At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down.

Finally, the guys’ side of the story (I must admit, it’s pretty good).

We always hear ‘the rules’ from the female side ..

Now here are the rules from the male side.

 These are our rules!

Please note.. these are all numbered “1” ON PURPOSE!

1. Men are NOT mind readers. Read the rest of this entry »

Early life

Boyle was born in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland,[12] to Patrick Boyle, a miner, World War II veteran and singer at the Bishop’s Blaize, and Bridget, a shorthand typist,[13] who were both immigrants from County Donegal, Ireland.[14] She was the youngest of four brothers and six sisters.[12]

Born when her mother was 47,[12][15][16] Boyle was briefly deprived of oxygen during the difficult birth and was later diagnosed as having learning difficulties.[17] Boyle says she was bullied as a child[12][18] and was nicknamed “Susie Simple” at school.[19] Read the rest of this entry »
